The Cintoia Valley is probably one of the wildest areas of the Chianti region.

Beside the wonderful natural environment, we will find three medieval Castles, walk on ancient roads and have amazing views.

We will hike through the valley, finding waterfalls and a mill, up to the top of the ridge where will find the ruins of an an old monastery.

This area was known for the presence of many water springs.

This activity is suggested for those who want to get away from the noise and daily hubbub.

It is possible to shorten the activity to half day /see below for this option).
