The Consuma Pass, il passo della Consuma, 3,000 feet (1.000 meters) above sea level, divides the Arno river valley from Casentino.

Up here, we will hear stories of WWII and talk about the people who lived here: farmers, lumberjacks and shepherds. We will also relax ourselves immersed in the silence of the woodland, made of pine, fir, spruce and beech trees.

At the end of the activity we will taste the local specialty: schiacciata! (flat bread – not included in the fee)
